Ryan McGuckin LPC, LCADC, CCS
I am a trusted licensed professional, with over a decade of experience. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah University. Currently I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). I also hold a supervising credential as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I am dedicated to providing a compassionate and innovative approach to positive change.
As a fellow human being I have known what it is like to struggle with things like chronic stress, anxiety, health issues, and more. A shared lived experience helps with things like compassion, empathy, understanding, and trust. More importantly it allows me to offer tools through therapy to help you find healing for yourself. Disorders such as anxiety, addiction, insomnia, and depression are challenging and bewildering. They manifest in unique ways depending on the individual living with them. My approach to healing is a combination of evidence based practices with a person centered touch in navigating life’s biggest challenges together in a therapeutic relationship.
When I am not working I enjoy time with my family, walking in nature, reading, and anything that has to do with baseball in the warm months and mountains in the winter.
